Anthony S. Falco has been a lawyer in Massachusetts since the 1980s and started the law Firm over 25 years ago in 1990. He came to specialize in matters affecting the elderly and in 2000 founded Senior Resource Center, Inc., an ancillary business of Falco & Associates, P.C. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Inc. (NAELA), a Charter Board member of the NAELA Seniors Rights Political Action Committee, former member of the MA-Chapter Public Policy Committee, co-founder of the Bo Foundation, Inc., (www.bofoundation.org) a non proFit 501(c)(3) charity, a former board member Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL)(www.lclma.org) and previous Finance Director and Treasurer to Timothy P. Cahill, former Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Falco is a Finance degree honors graduate of Suffolk University and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Stetson University College of Law in Florida. Mr. Falco's non legal interests and activities include owning and managing residential and commercial real estate, coaching and or managing various youth sports teams, maintaining physical Fitness through nutrition and exercise and being actively involved with many charities, mostly focused on addiction and recovery. He is married and the father of six children and four grandchildren.
Ronald R. Kearns graduated from Fitchburg State College Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1985. He graduated with Honors from Suffolk University Law School in 1991 and has practiced Estate Planning, Real Estate, Medical/Legal and Elder Law for over 25 years. Ron is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., (NAELA). He is also an elder law attorney with Falco & Associates, P.C. since 2004.
As a nurse attorney, Mr. Kearns brings a unique focus to Elder Law, advising on care needs and developing the Estate and Medicaid Plan based on those needs. He shares his expertise in each of his respective Fields by offering complimentary CEU presentations for Elder Care Professionals.
Mr. Kearns is married and the father of two children.
Kevin Spitz has been a lawyer in Massachusetts since 1990 and has practiced law with Falco & Associates, P.C. since 1997. He is a Bachelor of Arts graduate of Eisenhower College and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School. He is also an employee of Senior Resource Center, Inc. and is a Mass Health BeneFits Expert. Simultaneously to practicing law, Mr. Spitz was a FireFighter with the Scituate MA Fire department and retired in 2013. He is married and the father of three children.
Paul Thornhill has been a lawyer in Massachusetts since 2002. After serving three years in the U.S. Army, he graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and holds a Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law. He joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2004. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA) as well as the Massachusetts Chapter of NAELA, and counsels seniors and their families on Estate and Medicaid Planning, Probate Law and Asset Preservation. He is married and the father of two boys.
Patricia G. Novak has been a practicing attorney since 1992. After graduating from Boston College in 1987, Patricia obtained her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University School of Law. Patricia joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2007. She is currently on the Board of Directors at DOVE, Inc., a domestic violence prevention agency and is a member of the Norfolk County Bar Association. Patricia is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), as well as the Massachusetts chapter of NAELA and counsels seniors and their families on Estate and Medicaid Planning, Probate Law and Asset Preservation. Patricia is married and the mother of two daughters.
Anastashia Kamberidis was sworn in as a member of the Massachusetts Bar in November 2015. She received her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Northeastern University and received her Juris Doctorate degree from New England Law | Boston in 2015. During her time in law school, she was an active member of the Student Bar Association and served as elections committee chair. She also served as a judicial intern for the Boston Municipal Court and completed clinical programs with Harrington Law OfFices and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. She is a new member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA) and the Boston Bar Association. As a member of the Firm, Anastashia will be concentrating her practice on counseling seniors in Estate and Medicaid Planning, Probate Law, and Asset Preservation. Recently married, Anastashia and her husband are actively involved in their church as deacons.
Judy received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts at Boston, summa cum laude, where she was also a recipient of the T. Scott Miyakawa Memorial Prize in Sociology. She received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, cum laude, and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Administrative Law. Flynn is one of only 24 attorneys in Massachusetts to earn the CELA* designation.
Judy owned her own practice on the South Shore from 2004 until 2016, when she joined the team at Falco & Associates, P.C., where she continues to advocate for elders and their families in all aspects of elder law, estate planning and special needs planning.
Judy is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and served as President of its Massachusetts Chapter (MassNAELA) in 2014. She is an active member of MassNAELA’s Public Policy and Litigation Committees, working to advocate for the rights of seniors and individuals with special needs. Judy served two terms as President of the Massachusetts Guardianship Association (MGA), in 2010 and 2011.
Judy was honored as a "Top Woman of Law" by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, and has received numerous other professional awards and designations such as New England Super Lawyer (2013-2018); the National Guardianship Association's Outstanding AfFiliate Member Award (2010); and the MassNAELA President’s Award (2013, 2016).
Judy and her husband, Bill, live in Hingham and have three children.
* Certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, the only organization approved by the American Bar Association to offer certification in the specialization area of Elder Law (www.nelf.org). The certification requires knowledge and experience in several areas including: health and personal care planning, pre-mortem legal planning, fiduciary representation, legal capacity counseling, public benefits advice (including Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, SSI, and Veterans benefits) special needs counseling, housing counseling, nursing home resident rights advocacy, age and disability discrimination in housing and employment, advice on insurance matters, and employment and retirement advice.
Victoria LaBate was admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York in 2018. Ms. LaBate received a degree in Biology from University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from Vermont Law School and a master’s in Environmental Science from University of Massachusetts, Boston. During her time in law school she served as part of law review, moot court, and women’s law group. Ms. LaBate joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2018 and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Ms. LaBate is also employed by Senior Resource Center, Inc. as a MassHealth Benefits Coordinator.
